Looking at the First Responder. Wondered if anyone has one, or any 5.11, and what's their take on them.

I have 3, First Responder, Ten-Eight and Investigator.

Great knives, real bargains for the money. Solid construction.

The First Responder is a bit of a beast to pocket carry on most days, so the Ten-Eight gets carried more.

Since I've read that's it's imported I am concerned with quality control. Since you have 3, has there been any quality control issues with any of yours?

I've not had any problems with mine, all came with Zero blade play and razor sharp.

2 First Responders for $130.00 is a real bargain!!!

Only their Kerambit models, all the rest are only CE.

I'm anal about having plain edge. I bought 2 of the master K-bits and I like them. Of course, I did have to tweak them slightly.
