looking for a manbag that i could use for me on hike's and when im out with my daughter. wondering how you feel about the 5.11 PUSH bag? i would use it for EDC and as a small BOB. and when im with my daughter it sould fit some diapers, wipes and a sippy cup.

I would look into a maxpedition fatboy or Jumbo.

I have never tried 5:11 but the maxpedition gear I have is excellent....

Welcome to the forum.

What about the Maxpedition Jumbo? They have several different versions of it to suit whatever need you may have. They also have the Mongo, which is downright huge, if that's not big enough for you. Maxpedition makes some great gear that's built pretty tough and comes in lots of different colors. I'd give them a look!

I’ve got a Jumbo. You can put enough stuff in it that it will make your neck meat hurt. It’s a small bag, but a big bag at the same time.

sounds like you need the daiper dude. :D seriously, google it. it's perfect for sippy cups. LOL. that seriously makes me laugh. i've got my own daiper dude just for that occasion. they make a manly one in camo. :)

I got a 5.11 rush 24.
It's definitely a heavy duty bag.
Lots of room for lots of stuff.
Congrats on the little one by the way...

I had a Maxpedition Versipack Jumbo LEO. Great little big bag. I'm using a 5.11 Rush 12 that I just got. Between the two I'll give the quality win to Max. It was a really well built bag.

This might be worth looking at too, http://www.tacticaltailor .com/crossfireconcealedcarrybag.aspx
You also can't go wrong with Maxpedition. I handled a PUSH pack as part of a review a couple of years ago and I didn't care for the way the bottle pockets on the sides zipped close. They may however, be great for baby bottles.

I tried both the maxped jumbo and the 5.11 Push. I sold the maxped and kept the 5.11 push due to the better organisation from more pockets. I use it as a daily man bag to carry my crap around. :o

The maxped stuff is probably a little more heavy duty but not by much and it does not have as good division and separation of pockets and compartments. Also the rain cover on the main pocket whilst a good idea gets in the way unless you can tuck down the sides.

I've been using my camo diaper dude for two years now....I love it and it will make a great range bag when the kid potty trains :D congrats on the kiddo!

And while I think everyone agrees maxpedition makes really nice stuff it's not easy for everyone to drop that kind of cash on nylon.

I have a couple of 5.11 Bags, a large kit tool bag:

and a rush 24

Both bags have been put thru quite a bit of abuse and carrying quite a lot of random things, both have pulled through without complaint.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable bag.

I ordered a couple of small 511 pouches from bomar tactical along with a level III assault pack (I think Condor makes it) for my BOB a couple weeks ago. Seems like pretty nice stuff.

I just can't get over stuff like 'manbag'.

I hate all the man purse messenger bags around these days too but I'm a stay at home dad and I wasn't gonna carry some fruity diaper bag. The wife sprung for the camo diaper dude for me. If I were to do it again I might go one step further and get a maxped gearslinger like the sitka.
