5.11 Q

I've recently aquiered a pair of new 5.11 pants and I am kind of curious. What's the strip on the RR pocket?? For what purpose? Flash light? Baton?

They were first used for moutain climbing. The strap is for carabiners/tools etc.

good someone started a 5.11 thread. BTW dont call the Royal Robin people asking about 5.11's. aparently i missed the news flash about the company split. The strap on the RR pocket is good for holding battons or long flashlights. My question about RR is this; (preparing for jokes) the crotch hangs low in mine. i normaly wear 32/32 which makes them fit in length and waist but the crotch seems like it is at my knees. Do i need to change sizes? get a bigger ass? i love 5.11 pants more than anything else i wear but i must gix this problem.
