So i just bought a 5.11 knife last week.. still havent gotten it because ups "misplaced it" but now its supposedly on its way and will be here tomorrow. Dont see a 5.11 subforum on here so im just curious if anyone knows their warranty on their knives. Just in case i like that peace of mind ya know?

Ah thanks, idk why i couldnt find that on their site. must have over looked it. I like alot of their knives and this cs2 im getting will be my trial knife, for 55$ i expect decent quality not perfection but decent so we shall see.

You never know what you're getting for under $60 but I've had some good luck with the low end Buck knives. I got a 486 and 285 for about $20 a piece and they are actually pretty solid knives. Sharp as hell out of the box. They don't open well with the thumb stud though but otherwise very good knives for the money and the Buck 420HC with their heat treatment is very nice.

I have no experience with 5.11 so I'd be interested in seeing what you think.

i didnt hear of 5.11 until just recently so i decided to grab one since the price didnt seem bad for a 3.75 inch aus 8 blade and 8.75 over all knife. Ill give a initial impression when i get it and then review it in a few weeks.

5.11 doesn't make their own knives. From what I gather, Bladetech and Fox make them. So I would expect that those companies would handle warranty issues.

I purchased a 5.11 Rush 12 pack in Multicam yesterday, it ships with a free cap and a free knife....
when I get the knife I'll get rid of it on Oyebay.

That knife isn't even sold by itself so I would imagine it's like one of those cheap knives.

The last 5.11 knife I bought, will be the last I ever buy from them over a warranty issue.

Bought one that was supposed to be tapped for 4 position carry, and since I'm a southpaw, reversible for lefties is kinda important. When the knife arrived, the left hand carry holes had been tapped and threaded to large and the screws just fell out, completely unusable. Plain and simple this is 100% a manufacturing defect, but 5.11 refused to fix or replace it.
