So, this is my first thread here in the hallowed hall of Kershaw, and I must say. I feel dirty. And, I like it.
While I have been steadily converting Rob to the BKT knives, he's been steadily converting me (us, the Pimp Biscuit is apart of this) to Kershaw.
I never had a single issue with any of the Kershaw knives I've owned, about a dozen over the years. I recommend them to folks looking for good USA made knives, or just good folders in general. Now, enough with gilding the lily, ya'll wanna see whats Robs is a pushin'?
Skyline of course.
Rob hooked me up with a Red Model, so, it would be easier for me to rub it in on the Pimp Biscuit. In case ya'll didn't know, rubbing stuff in on biscuits, is quite a challenge.
Classic lines, well made, USA made (hell yeah, baby). What surprised me the most, is the weight, or lack of it. Super light, grips feel like flypaper. Did I mention it was made in the USA? Well, it is.
I just got it in the mail today, and the first thing I did was use it to open another box of knives I got today too. Yeah, life sucks sometimes.
Reversible grip is a huge plus, and the fit and finish is par excellence (say that with a french accent, you'll get idea)
Blade lockup is tight, blade is centered, flipper is fast. I honestly can't think of a better EDC knife. I tend to lean towards the big and heavy (0301
), but there is nothing in a pocket folder that this Skyline can't deliver.
It has officially kicked my HEST/F outta my pocket
, but it might have to share time with my new PhatBob. Size comparison.
I want to offer a big thanks to 5.56 (Cyclops
), for opening my "eye" to the wonders of smaller Kershaw knives.
Thanks to Kershaw, for making some great USA Made products.
More to come as my Kershaws expand. Now, I'm gonna go baton this sucker into a stump and see if it takes a beating.

I'm kidding. Seriously. I was kidding.

PS, eat that Biscuit, just wait to see what I put against your ZT000000000000551
