What are your 5 favorite knives today? I say today because something new always comes out tomorrow and replaces my todays favorite. Mine are: BM 710 axis lock BM Nimravus Emerson La Griffe neck knife Camillus QCB1 Terzuola fixed blade BM Pinacle 750-Auto stryker(tie) As you can see, I am a benchmade fan. Also all my knives have plain blades. What are your favorites?

Well, right now, I would have to say:

  • Spyderco Standard
    Benchmade Nimravus Cub M2
    Benchmade 710
    Spyderco Military
    Buck Vanguard

Sometimes the BladeForums Native jumps into the line-up, replacing the Spydie Standard. And, occasionally the Spydie Moran will replace the N. Cub.

Glad my knives aren't nearby to hear me choose between them, as they can be awful jealous sometimes!

This is tough, as they all are nice, but I chose this with the thought that someone might reach into my knife drawer and take one and I'd say `No, not that one, choose another'

1. William Henry Spearpoint, Rainbow Series
2. William Henry Lancet, Mother of Pearl
3. Small Sebenza, plain type
4. Boye/Loveless Persona
5. Large Sebenza

Cold Steel Urban Skinner
Cold Steel Master Tanto
Polkowski Bodyguard
Benchmade Axis 710
Benchmade AFCK

Currently Spyderco BF Blue Native, Calypso Jr. Ltwt, Almite Navigator, a Swiss Army Knife (had it so long I can't recall what it's called, and a Gurkha knife w. WWII-style blade.

Hard choices, but here goes...

  • Sebenza (Chris Reeve)
  • AFCK M2 (Benchmade)
  • XLTI (Buck)
  • G10 Harpy (Spyderco)
  • Endura (Spyderco)

I have to admit that the hardest choice is trying to pick which Spyderco's! I also am fond of the mini Dyad. And also quite a few of the knives from Cold Steel.

My SAK Tinker cause of all the tools
My Leatherman Sideclip, ditto
My Emerson Le Griffe couase it's convenient and so darn nasty!
My CRKT Mirage 3.5 50/50 blade cause it fits my hand so well, opens like a snake, is wickedly sharp and was cheap enough (24.95) to discard if ever required.
And finally my BM CQC7 with black 50/50 blade.
