Here is my #5 and #6.

Both of them are neckknives, although the handle of #6 is almost a little too thick (but i love that wood!).

Specs:

Length: 18 cm (ca. 7")
Thickness: 3 mm (ca. 1/8")
Steel: 1.2842 (similar to O2)
Hardness: 59-60 HRC
Weight: I dont have a clue...

#5 has a carbon fibre handle with red fiber

#6 has a wooden handle (Wenge)

These were the last knives which i made completely with files.

Now i own a tiny little Belt-grinder, that saves me a lot of time and sweat...

Jester, those look just fine! You should sign such nice work so people down the road know who to give credit to. :)

Those are great Jester. I really like #6. I have one about the same size and shape as 6 that I carry in a belt sheath instead of a pocket knife. I think I'm the only person on earth with a needlepoint sheath. (my wife made it so I have to use it:o )

Thanks for the kind words.

That gives me some extra motivation...

I will sign the blades before i give them away, i also think, the user should know which steel the knife is made of, i just have to get the equipment for it...

@robert: I dont have a clue, why yahoo is asking for a password!?? :(

Wow, those are really nice! I agree, you definitely need to be putting your name on those. I can see you will take your talent far in this craft if you're already putting out knives that nice at #5 and #6.

Let's see #7 when it's done! :)
