Which companies offer a 5 blade sowbelly ( or stockman ) that would have the largest blade under 3" ?

While I prefer single blade slip joints the most , a 5 blade just intrigues me.

so folksy people , what ya' got ?

Moore Maker offers a 5-blade stockman, but I don't know how long the main blade is. OAL is 3 7/8" though, so I would expect it to fit your criteria.

Got one by Case. Post you a pic when I can get to it. Moving this week, can't find alot of stuff.

Queen, made four and five blade Winchester Sowbellys for Bluegrass Cutlery. Mooremaker only offers the five blade version. The Winchesters and Mooremakers are 3 3/4 closed with carbon steel blades. Larry

If you want to go custom, Rick Nowland makes a pretty nice one:

It is oddly ergonomic for such a comparatively fat bundle of blades. I really like it.

Rick Nowland is heck of a guy , and a very talented maker , had a blast talking with him at Blade a few years back. A custom is out of my range right now unfortunately , & I have begun to downsize my collection.
