This is a small 5" blade chef knife. The blade is Aldo's 1095, and the handle is stabilized Amboyna burl. Carbon fiber pins, and a stainless mosaic pin. It has a tapered tang. This one is going to the OKCA mini winter show in december.
This is my first "high end" kitchen knife.
Let me know what you guys think.

Wow.... Just wow.... That is beeeyootiful! Any chance you could PM me a quote for a similar knife?

Very nice.,, and different from your usual work.. you are pretty versatile..
What is the blade thickness on the this one ?

Thanks a bunch guys!
The steel is .125" at the spine, and is full flat ground to fine edge.
I am also working on a 10" blade chef right now, it will likely get stabilized curly koa and have a polished hamon as well.
I will post up pics when it is complete.
