5% Chokwe sales going to charity? Still? Is this true?

There's a guy on the bay selling a Chokwe using the text verbatim from the Spyderco page including this line -

Spyderco will donate approximately 5% of sales of the Chokwe to the Keep a Child Alive Organization.

He makes no effort at a disclaimer but admits to being the "original owner" not a Spyderco dealer.

That's not right. Can he be made to retract?

There's probably not much that can be done, aside from asking him nicely to remove that line from the listing. As "creative" eBay sales pitches go, it's kind of mild. Then again, anyone who actually believes that Spyderco tracks every secondary market sale of one of their products is probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
