5 incher......

This is a little knife I just got together. Its a total of 5". The blade is shear steel and the handle is from the smallest piece of oosic I've ever seen. I'm thinking this critter must have got eaten before he grew up. The fitting are African blackwood.

Ray, These last few you've posted with the blackwood accents look mighty good to me. Nice contrast with the osage & oosic handles. Keep up the fine work.

Raymond! You just can't leave that shear steel alone can you. I hope you find more before you run out. You are really turning out some handsome blades with it.

Anthony, Believe me I'm stretching out what shear steel I have. The blade on this knife started out as a 3" X 1/2". After forging the blade is just over 2" and the tang is 100% threw the handle.....
