First test of AEB-L and frame-handle construction.
5.25" of 1/16" stock AEB-L, heat finish, 4.5" walnut and G10 frame handle. Lots of chatoyance in this wood!
My new "AEB-L" stencil hadn't arrived yet, so assembly happened first, hence the appearing/disappearing mark. The etch took off more of the heat colors than I expected, but this is just a test blade for my kitchen.

VERY nice!
A shorter handle turns this knife into a jinto kwaiken. :)

Thanks, Rolf.

Heh, I'm not sure it really merits the term, but the blade profile and slight angle with the straight handle gives it that feel. This thing slays fruit and cheese like nobody's business.
