This one was a challenge. The scissors, pliers and Phillips drivers are adapted from 91mm SAKs. After some careful backspring reshaping and spacing the bottle opener out to the same thickness as the Phillips driver they snap like they were made for this size. The scales and scissor rest are hard brass and the liners are spring tempered phosphor bronze. Screws and pivot pins are 1/8" hardened stainless steel. Probably the only 5 layer 93mm SAK made.

Help me understand what you did here:

This originated as a Swiss Army Knife (SAK) and you recreated the liners and scales?

Yes. The blade, awl and saw are from a 93mm Alox Farmer and the rest of the tools are from various 91mm SAKs which needed some fitting to work in the 93mm frame. The scales and liners were cut from sheet stock using the original parts as templates to scribe the profiles and as guides to drill the holes.

Very nice! What kind of screws holds the knife together? Did you have to enlarge the tool holes? Clean work my friend!

VERY nice work and something that is truly one of a kind. I like your selection of tools on it.
