5 new knives I was sent by a very nice man on bladeforums.

So I'v been talking to this man plumberdv on bladeforums about a month ago and weve chatted everynow and then and hes seen pictures of all my knives and since im a beginner with knife collecting he genoroulsy offered to send me 5 brand new knives for free!
He sent me a buck 110, a small keychain buck knife 425, a rough rider knife, a timber wolf knife3 and a US classic knife.

All of these are very nice and I really love them all and can't thank him enough.

Here are all the knives with the blades out. I love all these knives and plan on making them some users. I may post some more pictures soon.

I have had a few transactions with "plumberdv" and he is an outstanding individual. That is a very nice 110. ;)

It is a very nice 110, its a commemorative with Alferd Buck's name on the blade, I put it on display on my bookshelf with alot of my other stuff that has been givin to me over the years, the other knives dave gave me are going to use:)
 
Good score! Every now and then, I like to do a give away. Helps my knife karma, a little sacrafice to the knife gods ;)
 
I've got a little box of things like that, that folks have given me, both here & elsewhere. Stuff I'll never part with.

Alright! I know how much a knife is appreciated by those just starting out in the hobby. I also gave my little sister and her boyfriend a knife each recently.
They are both going to the same college and I gave her a Smith & Wesson HTR, that had been around forever and was still just like new. He was plainly envious, so I gave him a Kershaw Barrage I'd gotten free (for reviewing it on the Kershaw forum)from the very nice Kershaw Rep here.
He was totally blown away by the knife and made a lot of positive comments about it. I was talking to her on the phone recently and asked her if he was still thrilled with it. She said "He carries that damn knife everywhere!"
While she wasn't en-thrilled over her gift as he was. I think I may have started a new knife enthusiast on the road!

I appreciate how genorous he is and I can't thank him enough! He sent me an email and said the top knife the U.S Classic knives are harder to come by, so I don't think I'm going to EDC that knife. But the little keychain buck is going to be my EDC knife for a while :)
 
Lucky you and how nice of him. Is there anybody who wants to send me 5 (or more) knives for free? :)

Are you serious? I was saying it like a 'I want it too' kind of way. Joking-ly. Hence the smiley face. I guess tone and whatnot gets lost in translation when typed. I doubt anybody would send me, or anybody else, any knives unless they know each other.
