Meanwhile, I just got a $50 Amazon gift card. Of course, I want a knife. Fixed, folder, whatever. I just want quality....the best knife made for under $50. I already have a growing collection of 30 folders and 45 fixed blades along with axes, machetes, antique tools, etc;

I've narrowed it down a bit to these:

Kershaw Injection 3.5

Condor Bushlore 4.75"

Schrade sch9

Schrade SCHF17 (this knife intrigues me. YouTube videos on it are quite impressive)

Case Cutlery 02758 Pocket Worn Lockback

Kershaw 1077 Camp Knife

Mora Bushcraft carbon black

Ontario 498 Marine Combat Knife

Kellam Knives HM10 Fixed Blade

I'm leaning towards a good fixed blade but, would appreciate any suggestions. I know these type of questions get ask a lot and I'm usually giving the suggestions rather than asking for them!

Thanks and Regards.

You could possibly go with a BK11 or 14 for a good fixed blade. Might be smaller than you're looking for, but your list is also all over the place.

What about a flashlight, seems you got the knives covered. Just a idea.

I am not a fixed blade fan, but i love my condor.
I think mine is the mini bushcraft?
I use it camping and yard working

Maybe you should get something other than a knife cause you have a few and get a benchstone or Sharpmaker to keep them all sharp! :)

Why not a good kitchen knife? You can get a Tojiro Santuko for $5 bucks more. Ive recently acquired a Japanese kitchen knife and its been great, use everyday.

Good flashlight is always a score. Check candlepowerforums before you do.

Can you give us an idea of what you already have knife wise?

If you're looking at Kershaw, my favorite, and in my opinion, best folder under $50, is a Kershaw Leek. If you don't have one already, I'd make sure to pick one up.
