$50 bucks to spend in basspro shop

What would you spend your 50$ gift card for bass pro shop on...
im thinking for me a gerber 400 compact sport 35$
then a sharping stone not sure which one with the rest.????>......
what would u spend your 50$ gift card on and which sharping stone shall i get...look forword to your crazy comments....haha
 
For 10-15$ you can get a DMT mini sharpener in red. Will work great on knives up to like a 4" blade. Green is nice for honing it in to razor sharp, but red's great for general use.

IMO it'd be best to throw it all on a sharpener/ing system, and get a better knife later.

I know you said 50 was what you had, but you could put 20 with it and get a mini Griptilian. You won't regret it. That's what I did.

Do have a Buck Vangard? That'd be my first choice.

The Griptilian is an OK knife. I like the lock, shape, and the blade. But I recommend seeing one in person before ordering - the 'chinzy'-feeling plastic handle took me by suprise.

hmm. bass pro doesn't carry cold steel anymore. griptillians were raised $5 the other day. vangaurd's are $50 bucks and the zipper will cost you $5 more. buck 110 cost you $30 so you could buy a stone to go with it. Only good sharpeners for the money they have is the 2 sided diamond smiths stone. a few other sharpeners but thats the best deal other than a lansky.

i second the wave idea. twice as good as the gerber 400 but twice the money. regular wave is 65 and the newer style wave is 70.

you could buy 50 dollars worth of jerky. that stuff is good. tinks 69 works real well.

just go to the store and go crazy. just don't forget the check book. you can never spend what the gift card is worth. you always spend twice as much
