this has probably already been done by some, but here ya go:

the .50 cent Fenix (or similar) flashlight mod:

you need:

- one (1) 5/8" ID rubber electrical grommet
- one (1) 5/8" O ring

slip the O ring onto the gap between the flashlight head and the battery tube. This will make it more difficult for the head to turn by accident when in your pocket. Next add the grommet and adjust the position. Now hold you light like a cigar (ROGERS / SUREFIRE TECHNIQUE) . Shown here on a Fenix P1D-CE5

edit: the Knife is a MykulMorris Torpedo, the hair is cat hair (damn things shedding) and the spent casings are a mix picked up from my last campsite.

this one was a free mod, got a red plastic cap from a piece of machinery, not sure what you would call it.....but it snaps perfectly into the lens area of the light

It turned my P1D-CE5 into a little 360 deg locater marker light for the campsite or while i'm hiking.

video shot in Hi-Def to follow, once it loads....

the red cap would be really nice with the stobe, but I assume thats what the video is going to be

oh, like a hose dust cap? cool use

My mod is E-tape around the back end 10-15 wraps, makes it easier on the teeth for holding the light.

Thanks for the tips guys! Gonna have to cruise this forum more often.
