I am approaching the 500 mark which means I should do something to mark the occasion. I will make a sheath for a give away. Give me your thoughts of which Becker it should be. I have a BK2,4,7 and 9. So among those, which should I make? I'm thinkin BK2 because that's probably the most commonly owned. But, I'm open to your ideas.

Congrats on the 500, I bet at least 2 or 3 of those were important! :D

as for the OP question, perhaps have the contest, then let the winner decide from the four models you have? I dunno...that's your call.

See. That's why I seek the wisdom of greater minds than my own. Your suggestion just might be the answer. I'm thinking up a contest, but would also take suggestions on that too.

The 2 is very popular, so you'd reach the largest group. The sheath the 7 comes with NEEDS to be replaced, so that one is more practical. Of the choices, I'd still vote for the BK2.
 
I think BK2 would be the way to go. On the other hand, if you did make a Bk7 sheath, I might just have to get one just in case I win.
 
TB's right. I think you need to let the winner decide, otherwise you're going to have an unintentional soft restriction on who will enter.
 
I'll agree with Thrill also. Speaking of Thrill and sheaths, I can't wait to get my examples of his work in! I think they might be coming in this week, if I'm not mistaken. He's a heck of a chap, and has been helping me figure out making some kydex stuff of my own. It's a lot harder than he makes it look!

I am looking forward to seeing what cool contest BE comes up with. That 2 sheath you made when you first joined us was AWESOME.

I am looking forward to putting a really nice sheath together for someone. I think I just about have my contest planned out. It will be a little different than what we've seen. I'm gonna clear it with the Mods first, but I think they will give me the thumbs up.

I'd be happy to win anything that you made and if I didn't have a knife for the specific sheath I would probably buy one. I like thrills idea of just letting the winner decide what he/she wants. You could always request their knife if they want a sheath for a Becker you don't have.
 
Great idea on your 500th post. Some lucky person is going to get a great sheath. I think TB idea of winners choice is a perfect idea. I just looked and we have the same number of posts, damm what an I going to do?? Whoever wins this should be proud to have it. Good Karma Balding!!
