I think it's great news! Love to see other options in the custom shop!

I wonder if the pricing is right on the 500's though. Waterbuffalo horn on the 501 is a $90 option. However, it's $37 for the same handle on the 110. The rest of the handles look to be priced right. The no rivet option for the 500's is nice.

Does anyone know if the blade will be marked Custom Shop? Anvil on the blades?

Pondering if I need a Christmas gift for myself :D

Again, great to see the Custom Shop doing more lines.

That's what the illustration shows.

I wish the Duke was still part of the 500 line. That would be a great option in the Custom shop.

Hi OC,

Funny you should be thinking like that. I was in there looking 2 weeks ago at the 110 -VS- the large Alphas. The Elk for the 110 is $80 and the Elk for the Alpha was $37, one scale on the Alpha could do both side of a 110!?

Clear your cache and cookies. When I got home last night I checked the Buck site and it showed no 501's and still had nickle for the 110. Cleared my cache and cookies and showed the 501's and no nickle option for the 110.

I had to pull the trigger on a blue handled 501 with rivets and the s30v blade. I just really like the 501...it's a big-little knife. I saw the NS option for the 110s while I was in the website.

S30V only available on the 501. Sure wish they had that orangewood as an option. The prices for these look pretty good!

A S30V 501 would make one heck of a traditonal EDC I'm really glad to see Buck adding more models to the custom shop lineup.
