500 Series Question

Could someone tell me when the 500 series with micarta handles, and Buck in script writing were made, and when they were discontinued? Thanks!

your knife would be from 1979 or 1980...in 1981 it was switched to resin impregnated birch.
That is for the model # 500.


looks like the 501 was introduced in the 1975 catalog,
the 500,503,505, and 506 were introduced in the 1979 catalog.
