I just realized that I passed the 5000 post mark, so it's time to give back. I'm still working down some medical bill debt so it can't be anything fancy or new, but I thought this would be a good choice. There are two knives involved, and the first place winner will get first pick.
I got this 8OT when I heard the news that Schrade was closing their doors, it was new old stock at a local hardware store. I don't have a box, but this was meant to be used, not stored in the box. It has just the bare beginning of a patina from cutting an apple for lunch, but has otherwise sat neglected and needs a new home.
The other knife is this Henckels copperhead, which I have had for some time. I believe it was made by Böker, and it has been carried and used. I may still have the box, but I can't guarantee that I will be able to find it.
Now for the rules...anyone who is a regular in the traditional forum can play, I'll ship anywhere in the world as long as it is legal where you live. Post any picture(s) that you want, the winners will by chosen by my wife. A knife in the picture would be nice, but not necessary. I'll have to warn you that she has zero interest in knives (unless they have a very unusual and colorful handle) so knife pictures may not be what best catches her eye. Her choice of favorite picture wins the day. I'll let this run until Tuesday 8/20 8PM Pacific time.
