Very cool! I have always been drawn to buck knives because my grandpa was a collector. He mainly collected case folders but he loved buck fixed blades. Oh and he of course likes the 110 ! Thanks for the chance and merry Christmas

Hi sitflyer -

Wow! This is a great giveaway for a fellow like me!

I grew up in the 60's and the 110 was THE knife to have back then. When I got into high-school, the Buck 112 was a better choice for me as it was a little smaller.

I have had a fondness for the 112 since they came out - the Ranger was just right, and it was the best choice for me in a time when all the "knife guys" had a Buck sheath riding on a thick leather belt, typically with a large ornate buckle.

I think what amazes me the most about Buck, is that they have been able to make the same quality knives, with the same design, for so many years and still have a major presence in the market.

A classic is always a classic, and the Buck 112 (and 110) will be part of the history of knives forever.

Thanks, sitflyer, for a chance to own a well loved example of a 112 that has had your very desirable touch.

best regards-

mqqn

Thanks for the opportunity, I have always liked buck knives because of the affordability and quality knives that they put out.

Hi Sit,

I can't tell you why. I'm just attracted to them like a bug to a light.....they are so beautiful;)

i like buck knives because i remember my grandfather carrying them and they still make the same quality blades as they have for years and hopefully will continue to do so thanks for the chance at winning some classic americana:)

Although new to the scene, I was instantly drawn to Buck knives from the moment I first held my 650 Nighthawk. Every knife since then has demonstrated outstanding build quality, value for money and ease and comfort of use.

Thanks sitflyer for this great opportunity

I like Buck knives because Chuck Buck, chairman of the board, said for many loyal Buck customers, "the Made in the U.S.A. stamp on the blades is just as important as the Buck logo beside it".

That's great, sit!!

My occation to have an eye on Buck knives is not only the unmatched high quaity of the knives.
A few Solingen companies make very good knives too. But they neither have such an impressing
Family that makes marvelous knives nor such a superb fan community in and outside the Blade
Forums. That makes it easy to put my focus on Buck made knives. Even though I never have the
chance to pick up a Buck knife on a flee market yard sale or anything else where the rare old items
were sold.

Best,
Haebbie

By the way, the second reason: It makes it easy for me to practice and
to improve my awful school english. ;)

Thanks for the chance! I am a Buck fan because I admire the simplistic design of the 110, the true american pocket knife IMO. Thanks again and happy holidays.

Count me in because I don't have a Buck knife yet. ;)

Well....just maybe the statement I made above probably isn't, may not be, might not be, isn't....ain't entirely true. :o

Aside from the fact that I have always gravitated towards quality tools (and Buck knives are top quality tools), I like Buck because each and every time I have contact with anyone at Buck Knives, I am treated like family.

I can honestly say that if I am the winner of that fine looking Buck 112, it will be my very first Buck knife (scroll down)

that I have received from sitflyer.

This is a good thing you're doin' here sitflyer and congrats on your 500th post!

I'll have to give away one of the 110's that I have cleaned up and sharpened when I hit my 500th post. Feel free to remind me about this in about a year. It's taken about a year for me to get close to 200 posts.

I love'em because they are good. I really love'em because they come from a stand up company!

:) whoo hoo Merry Christmas and thanks for the opportunity. Buck 112 my favorite Buck knife.

Thanks for the opportunity Sit-looks like a great knife.

I love Buck Knives because of the complete package. Excellent quality, American made(vast majority), American based, great looking designs, very functional and practical, ever forward looking for ways to improve design, durability and mfg process, best customer service I know of, regular guys who will hang out with us everyday folks in stores or on a forum, unwavering Christian values and unabashed in declaring thier faith in God and giving Him credit for thier success. The question is " Why wouldnt you love Buck Knives"?

Thanks again for the chance Sitflyer

Merry Christmas
Fritz
