So this is my 500th post, and it's time for me to give something back to this amazing community. Since joining, my knife knowledge, interest, and collection have all grown tremendously. Thank you all so much. But what's a guy to do when he has about 50 knives and only two hands? This:

Up for grabs is a Benchmade 943~

It's seen light use and is in very good condition, with some minor superficial scratches. (FYI there may be some blue loctite on the pivot screw; I can't remember.) Pretty sharp, reasonably centered, only slight blade play.

THE RULES:
- Open ONLY to residents of the United States. I'd make it the world, but between shipping costs and differing laws it's just easier this way.
- To enter, simply post one of your favorite quotes from anybody about anything. I will try to read through them all and select the winner based on my favorite quote; but if there are a lot of entries I may revert to a random number generator.
- Giveaway starts now and ends in one week, which is Tuesday, November 13th.
- I will ship the knife via USPS by November 21st. The knife will not be insured unless you want to reimburse me for the cost of insurance.
- Please don't enter if you already own a Benchmade 943.

Good luck, and thanks again!

Not an entry. Congrats on the 500!

Not entering, just saying congrats on the post and cool giveaway. I haven't had a BM 94x for awhile now, but the winner's gonna get a great knife.

Congrats on your 500th post! And thank you for the opportunity to win such a great knife.

Thanks for a chance at a great looking knife!

those are two of my favorite quotes. I don't really need the knife, but it would be my first benchmade, and third folder. Got a spyderco tenacious this summer and some gerber at cabelas when I was younger.

Congrats on you 500 post. Thanks for the chance to win a great knife.

Congrats on 500! I have a very appropriate quote for all us blade brothers..."Obsession is only a variety of addiction." Dr. Ian Malcolm
Thanks for the chance to win such a great knife.

This quote is from one of my favorite shows, "Supernatural". Castiel is an angel, the 'Warrior of God' type who is always serious, which is why I love this quote.

Castiel appears in a room to talk to Sam but looks like a wreck...
Sam, "What happened to you?!"
Castiel, "I found a Liquor Store..."
Sam, "And..?"
Castiel, "I DRANK IT!"

I'm in thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite quote is one by my Old Man he used to say when I was a kid, "How many times do ya gotta hit yer thumb with the hammer before ya realize ya gotta get someone else to hold the nail?"

Another of my favorites by my Old Man was said to me after I jumped off the neighbors roof with a garbage bag for a parachute, "...zero to idiot in under 2 seconds..."

"Your life is your life, don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission. be on the watch. there are ways out. there is a light somewhere. it may not be much light but it beats the darkness. be on the watch. the gods will offer you chances. know them. take them. you can’t beat death but you can beat death in life, sometimes. and the more often you learn to do it, the more light there will be. your life is your life. know it while you have it. you are marvelous. the gods wait to delight in you."
