Hey all, as I hit my 500th post (501st counting this) I wanted to do a giveaway to celebrate! I've learned and gotten so much from this forum, and to celebrate, I'll be giving away a LNIB Boker MCS Bud Nealy with all the parts.

Your post number is your entry number, and I'll determine the winner by random number generator on December 1st.

Also, not required but greatly appreciated, post a picture of something. Something important to you in your life, your favorite knife in use, etc. and post why you chose the picture that you did.

WINNER ANNOUNCED! #41, BobSig!
Thanks,
Noah

Ok, hate to ask, how do I post a picture!?!? On other forums you can directly load. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the giveaway, Noah. Count me in.

After almost cutting my finger in half this week with a CQC-7 (pics omitted :)), I've been using something a little smaller since then.

Thanks for the opportunity Noah:thumbup: This knife is very sentimental to me. I used my allowance back in 1970 (not sure how long I had to save) :D To buy this Case Serpentine Jack---I'll never part with it---and yes I'm OLD:)

This is a Craftsman branded electrician's knife my father modified to use to score corrugated box samples he designed. The screwdriver/blade with the brasslocking tab was left unsharpened and the screwdriver tip rounded to perform this task. As a teen during the depression he took up barbering and continued to do so during his stint in the Navy. As a Seabee he hit Iwo Jima. After leaving the Navy he used his trade to put himself through engineering school. He definitely could sharpen razors by hand and taught me all I know about that when I was around 8 years old. I wish I still had the SAK that he gave me as my first knife. My sons also got knives when they were responsible enough. Shrade fixed blade skinners.

Thank you for the opportunity and to share one of my most treasured knives.

Thanks for the opportunity. My picturepost if I could would be my old Parker Frost Gunboat that I replaced The scale with leather. I just like it...good size and cuts like a laser. Not pretty but has lots of character...Herb

I'm in, and here's a picture for you to think about everytime you use your cell phone... This is what it takes to to make them all talk...

This is where a real lanyard on your knife or any other tool you use counts.

Hope the picture comes out. My Mom bought me a BM Bone Collector 15020. It's a great blade, and I had to send it back for sharpening as the factory edge was a bit dull for me. When I sent it in, I had them engrave a Chai inside a Star of David. I figured it was a great way to remember the occasion she gave it to me on, and how much I'll enjoy it every time it's opened.
