I was flipping channels last night and there was a survival type show in The Weather Channel called "Fat Guys In The Woods". The expert pulled out what looked like a 501 Squire, to make a whistle out of some river cane, but it had thumb studs on it. I'm assuming this was an aftermarket add on but it didn't look like the ones I've seen on Bucks before. Looked more like what Benchmade uses, like it was made into the blade. If anyone has info on where to get these I'd like to maybe try some out.
