I was just on a Tn. Knife shop website and saw a limited edition final production run 110 for sale. One last chance to get a 50th collectible.

500 limited run, by two and pay for them both by reselling one on the bay. these will be in demand soon enough.

I got me one yesterday and it has F&F similar to my 500 series with out the slightly recessed back spring. There is no play opened or closed and it locks up good and tight. I like it better then my old 93 model and nicer DW scales then my 112! This was the only one I could find in my area after going to three other places, glad now I went for it...

I tried a number of times to order online the last couple weeks, but couldn't get all the way through the process.

Had to call and now have two on the way.

Sure hope that's the end of the 50th Anniversary 110s!! :)

Hey, I see they went back to the first version of the commemorative tang stamp. OH

Please indulge me. How would one know if this is a true final production run, or just some left over from earlier with the silk screening added? I have that same 110 without the screening. Why would Buck change and go back to the former tang stamp? Things that make you go Hmm.

I was going to ask if Buck put these out or if the seller had them etched. I suspect I already know the answer. Does anyone else have these available.

It's probably called "smart marketing" by that TN company.

I would be surprised if they come with the first tang stamp. That's probably only true in the photo.

So here is the actual knife. Nothing like what they showed on the website. I like this better. Sorry for the crappy pics.

I hope it's OK to ask this here, but I have a question on these 50ths. Is the shield on these done in acrylic? All this time I've been looking at all of you guys 50th 110s I thought the shield was possibly done in brass just looking at the pictures.

It's a metal medallion with some type of acrylic on the face. I was surprised when I found out they are metal.
