How many variations are there of the 50th version with different tang stamps?
I am very new to blade forum but have a beautiful Buck collection.

Thanks Michael5135

I think there are 2013 stamps on a 2014 body, so that would be three. But there are the different body and fingergrove combos to figure in if the question is deeper than stated.

See page 22, of the stickie. "WINNER AND STILL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ..." in this sub-forum. There is a chart/spreadsheet listing all the variations on that page.

To afishhunter,
Thank You Very Much,
This is exactly what I wanted to know and it is in writing, awesome!!!

I was lazy and didn't look up Buck's list of 50th tang stamps. I borrowed this photo from Lance in the stickie afishhunter mention above.

It looks to me that there are only two variations of the 50th tang stamp mentioned in the write-up.
There are a lot of bolster, inlay and steel variations though.

SMKW has one variation that was made in 2013 with buffalo covers that has a 2013 tang stamp, but is celebrating the anniversary as 1963 to 2013 instead of what Buck states is 1964 to 2014.
I have a couple of these in my 50th 110 collection even though I don't personally consider them to be accurate.
They are the two top knives in the photo below.

Dale owns the only "mistake" tang stamp I know of. The "Weld" in his boxed set slipped through with a 2013 tang stamp.
There are 50th Anniversary 110s that were built, boxed and sold in December, 2013. They all have the early 50th tang stamp though.

The top two knives in the photo below have the early version tang stamp and the bottom two have the later version tang stamp.
The middle knife is a later version tang stamp blade that Buck put into a 1978 to 1980 frame during a repair.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME TO ANSWER A QUESTION THAT WAS BOTHERING ME.
