This is knife is at the Shot Show right now. Eye popping detail and fitment from the capable artist. What a great time for Buck.

This knife is currently up for auction and may be bid on at a popular firearms auction site.
At present there are 36 bids at $3,275.

This “1 of 1” Buck Knives 110 Folding Hunter by legendary knife maker David Yellowhorse was commissioned by Buck Knives to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic 110 Folding Hunter and has been honored with selection as the 2014 SHOT Show Auction Knife.

H.H. Buck & Son revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the Model 110 Folding Hunter. In 2014, Buck Knives, Inc. will observe the 50th anniversary of the 110’s prominence in the hearts and hands of America’s outdoorsmen.

A cornerstone of the 50th Anniversary observance is the creation of this one-of-a-kind 110 Folding Hunter by legendary knife maker David Yellowhorse.

The special David Yellowhorse creation features a 3 ¾” Damascus steel blade with a hand-inscribed 50th anniversary tribute. The handle features Nickel Silver cutout in snake wood with inlays of Black Jet, Bloody Red Jasper and Web Turquoise. It also features nickel-silver bolsters.

The blade is signed by Chairman of Buck Knives’ Board of Directors, Chuck Buck and by CEO, CJ Buck. Each will also sign a Certificate of Authenticity, attesting that the knife is a one-of-a-kind and was commissioned in celebration of the 110 Folding Hunter’s 50th Anniversary.

“The following that our Buck 110 Folding Hunter has received from sportsmen all over the world for the past 50 years is deserving of a special tribute and we are indeed proud that legendary knife maker, David Yellowhorse, has partnered with us in this one-of-a-kind effort,” commented CJ Buck, Buck President and CEO.

“Buck Knives is proud to hold the record for the highest amount ever bid for a SHOT Show auction knife and we are hopeful that we can exceed that record in 2014,” Buck said.

As a special addition to the 2014 SHOT Show knife auction package, the high bidder and a guest will be invited to visit the Buck Knife headquarters in Post Falls, Idaho to tour the facility, receive a special package of Buck promotional items and have pictures taken with their knife and Buck executives. The trip is at the option of the high bidder and will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of high bidder and Buck representatives. Travel expenses are not included.

The knife will be displayed at the SHOT Show in the Buck Knife Booth, # 14504 in a custom glass-top walnut case. The same case will also go to the high bidder so he can proudly display his “1 of 1” Buck 110 in his home or business.

The Hunting Heritage Trust administers the SHOT Show auction for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). All proceeds will benefit Hunting Heritage Trust programs in support of America’s hunting and shooting sports heritage.
