I was out yesterday and found a brand new clamshell package 50th anniversary Buck 110 ($27.97)in a Wal-Mart in small town in Illinois. It may have been on the shelf for 3 years. Was it a great find? I had looked at a used 50th knife earlier in the day it didn't have a box so I passed on it. I think I will not open it, it is my 4th 110.Would like to hear of some of the great finds of the Buck 110 knife.

I got that one in a Farm and Fleet in 2014. Only a couple of dollars more. Leather sheath. I use mine. My daughter has a 2014 50th anniversary Ruger 10/22. When I die those two will both be hers.

Thanks I would like to see the 10/22, it's a classic I know mine is 2006

....... Was it a great find? .....

Well, it was a neat find.... just keep in mind EVERY 110 made in 2014 was a 50th so don't be unrealistic about appreciation, they probably made 100's of thousands of them.

We have talked about the 110 at a few shows last show I saw you was the Gateway show in St Louis. I bought that orange 422 NRA knife from you and you gave me some information from the data sheets on the knives I brought with me. I'm looking for a green 422 Bucklite knife. Thank you.

This knife could be a great find if there is no Buck logo anywhere on the knife. The first anniversary knives have no Buck logo. It depends on the first 38000 ex (edited) BUT only a few numbers of finger grooved knives. If you found a finger grooved 50 anniversary buck knife without buck logo you found a gold nugget.

Yes it just has the Anvil with the 50 in it no buck USA

Yes, this one. It needed a time that Buck realized they are making an anniversary knife without any buck logo. I am not sure with the output figures. And these are no high value knives. But these are nice for any 110 collection, especially the ginger grooved 110

numbers borrowed from Stumps and another thread

Thanks to a fellow BCCI member I now have some numbers to put up.

0110-BRS-B (standard 110)

Variation 1, "50/USA" with no medallion, approximate dates 12-1-13 to 12-19-13, approximate production 11,000
Variation 2, "50/USA" with medallion, approximate dates 12-20-13 to 2-15-14, approximate production 26,670
Variation 3, "BUCK/50/USA" with medallion, approximate dates 2-16-14 to 12-31-14, approximate production 160,000

0110-BRSFG-B (finger groove 110)

Variation 1, "50/USA" with no medallion, approximate dates 12-1-13 to 12-19-13, approximate production 240
Variation 2, "50/USA" with medallion, approximate dates 12-20-13 to 2-15-14, approximate production 992
Variation 3, "BUCK/50/USA" with medallion, approximate dates 2-16-14 to 12-31-14, approximate production 5,000

There is no mention of any 2013 blades which makes sense with the above timelines.

My earliest according to dates on boxes are 11-14-13.

I also have the 50th anniversary 110 that doesn't say Buck on the tang stamp....@ OP, that's awesome you actually find one still on the shelf this late.
