I used the money my parents gave me for my 50th birthday to buy a Queen Mountain Man in amber carved stag bone. Also, my wife and son gave me for this birthday a John Lloyd Rosewood Shadow.

The mountain man is a really cool and nostalgic pattern Queen's D2 is good stuff and should serve you very well.

Looking good. How is the fit on the Queen Mountain man? Spring to liner fit?

Awesome Doug, happy Birthday Sir!!, gee I just love that Handle on that John Lloyd...some type of Burl Doug?...whatever it is..it's a stunner

I tell you what, Queen does some really nice scales with that ACSB, got a few of those knives no two are the same which makes it even better.

Sleek that shadow in wood too, very nice idea getting presents from both generations, you are lucky there!

I'm not a good enough photographer to get a clear macro shot of it, but there are no gaps, very good tight fit and finish. Running my finger along the back it is completely smooth and flush, no high spots or irregularities.
