congratulations, 51 isn't too bad. Just imagine, I turn 60 this year!!! Never thought I would make it this far.
 
Happy Birthday Gary, just think your just a little over a half a century old, if you have your midlife crisis now that means you'll be around to drive everyone here crazy for another 50 years.

Thanks Guys! and yep shaved the beard a while back, only recently changed my avatar to reflect that, the wife hated that beard!

For me, my 25th was the harder birthday, alone at home, didn't go to work, didn't have enough gas to go anywhere but to work the next day to get my paycheck, no food in the house, so that night when I checked the cupboards, all I had was a can of chocolate syrup, so I poured that into a bowl and ate that while I watched jeporady, lol nice eh?

My avatar was one I shot while in Germany, held the digital camera right along side my head, I was looking into a shaving mirror and thought it looked kinda neat, strange but neat.

For my 50th, I went mountain biking on a local trail. I'm 58 now, and for my 60th I plan on a nice lay-down and a Warstiener...

I never thought I would get to be this old. Didn't think about dying, exactly, just never occurred to me I would live this long. Hasn't bothered me, not really, although when I turned 58 last October, that was weird. I mean, 58 is so friggin' close to 60 and THAT sounds old to me, still.

It's all good, but boy do I feel full tonight! went out to dinner with my daughters and one son inlaw to Applebees, great food, but wow am I stuffed! :)
