5160 bowie/fighter

This is a bowie/fighter I just finish. I would like to thank Nick Wheeler for the two work in process
he did. I would also like to thank Jason Knight for all his help.
The specs are:
Steel: 5160 carbon spring steel
Grind/Finish flat grind with convex edge 400 grit belt then scotchbrite belt finish
Overall length: 14 inches
Blade length:8 3/4 inches
Thickness/Width .270 in. with taper to the point / 1 11/16 in. wide
Guard: 416 stainless steel
Handle: Black linen micarta
This is the first hidden tang with a double guard i have ever done please let me know what
you think. Thanks Gene Scaffe

Gene,well done.Simple shape,great flow of lines,and the double guard turned out really nice.
 
Another winner, Gene. Very impressive for such an early effort.

Nicely done! Very clean lines, love the handle shape and your choice of steel. 5160 is a classic and one of my favorites especially with a convex'd edge.
 
Very pleasing to the eye and to the hand I bet. The Jason Knight influnce is evident.

If you told me Jason built it, I would believe you... and that's a VERY GOOD thing!!! :D

Oh, and which two? I think there have been about 20 by now ;) :p Seriously though, thank you- I'm glad some of my rambling could help somebody out! :)
