5160 - will the edges roll or chip?

I've got a Tactical Gladius sword from John Gage that should be finished in a couple of weeks.

I was wondering if 5160 was more prone to chipping or rolling on the edge?
 
It should roll before ever chipping, depending on the heat treat. But 5160 seems to be a popular choice for actual use katanas(meant for cutting mats).
