520 Presidio Scale Swap

I picked up a 520 trainer for a good price on the Exchange and started watching for a regular 520 to swap the red scales onto. In case you didn't know, Benchmade wil not swap out a trainer blade for a real blade. I finally snagged a real 520 off the Exchange. I think it looks good with the red scales. I do wish the red ones were textured like the black scales though.

The regular black scales have a texture to the anodizing. I wouldn't call it rough, just grippy. The red trainer scale anodizing is smooth.

Glad to see you're digging it, it looks good in red.

As for the scale question--agreed, it is very grippy, kind of rough feeling but not unfinished feeling.

Also got one of these 520 trainers for the sole purpose of a swap.When I received it,I saw how pretty the red anodized scales were
