Here's another one I've had sitting on the bench waiting to get finished.
This integral was forged from 1 1/4" 52100 round stock OAL- 13 1/8", 8 " blade, handle is double dyed box elder burl handle. The domed pommel is stainless and is hand rubbed to a 1200 grit finish like the blade.

Thanks for lookin,

Bill

Man Bill , that is a very awesome piece of work !! The lines are perfect on this one . I love the slight arc in the design . Blade Geometry is BEAUTIFUL as is the Handle !! Great job dude - I could go on & on about this one !! One of my favorites to date for sure !!

Thanks everyone, I throught about this knife for quite a while, kept looking at it on my bench and was totally undecided on even finishing it. My wife came out to the shop looking for a screwdriver and said, cool knife when you going to finish it. I told her I was undecided, couldn't even come up with a handle material I liked. She seen the block of Brown/Black box elder and said that would be pretty on it. I said jokingly, what do you know and ran her off. When I finished it, she said, I see you listened to me, and aren't you glad you did. All I could say was yes dear, you were right again. ;)

Thanks again,

Bill

Bill, it's the woman behind the man that makes him,, right :D
she just needs to be a pusher..

I found out this morning mine is
..I'll post it  it wan't me she was pushing :(

I'd rather she push me the way she did about the knife Dan, Maybe you'd better be happy she wasn't pushing you, sounds like linebacker material. :D

Bill

Yes dear, yes dear....... Cool knife! Sometimes you just got to let them age before you put them together. So Bill, do you like the knife now?

Ray its a great piece, the handles thin making the knife just a touch blade heavy, but this makes it a good slicer/chopper with out a lot of wrist pressure. Very quick in the hand, and the wood is fantastic, I need to order a couple more pieces of it. Wife done good.

Thanks,

Bill
