52100 Recon Scout won't get off my mind

What do I do? I should be responsible. I haven't bought a knife in months now, but this particular knife keeps calling me.

Only thing thankfully stopping me is the fact that Securex sheaths are garbage and I can't get sheath for it in Europe as far as I know...

What do I do?

buy it, make your own sheath.....problem solved.....

You can make a really serviceable sheath with about $10 worth of materials, some common hand tools, and a bit of imagination. I really want one too, but I think my next CS is going to be a larger bowie of some flavor.

Better to have a good knife with a bad sheath than no knife and no sheath. And the SecurEx isn't a bad sheath, it's just not good in a few respects. It's much better than it could be.

Well... I have a Recon Scout now, they just need to ship it to me (pulled the trigger). And I'll see about sheath materials too. It'll be a fun project.

10 careful seconds with a hacksaw blade can loosen up the tight spots in the sheath. Enjoy your knife.
