522 presidio ultra blade steels?

I have to send in mine because I broke the tip....again. The first time I just reshaped it and it worked fine, now I'm running out of steel! Going to request a new blade
Did these come in anything other than 440c?
The 440c combined with a hollow grind has been awesome but just wanted to see if there was an option.

The 522 only came in 440c. Best thing to do would be to call Benchmade for options, since your knife should be covered under warranty.

I'm pretty sure the 520 and 523 blade can be swapped in. Or you could try the 520 itself and see if you like that better. It has 154CM steel.
