The 525 Mini Presidio I ordered arrived today. Awesome little knife, quality and construction is impressive, should make a good replacement to my mini grip as my main edc.
While inspecting the axis lock mechanism, blade centering etc...everything was spot on, then I noticed the pocket grip screws protruding quite a bit into the blade channel. Its almost as if the screws they used are too long, can this be right? Can anyone else with a 525 check and see if theirs is the same?
I took some pictures, if you push the blade to the left the blade actually touches the screws. I don't keep the pivot screw super tight as I like to be able to open and close the knife quicky so I'm worried as there is some play the blade may hit the screws and damage with use. This is not an issue with my mini grip...
Protruding pocket clip screws
Pressing blade to side
Mini Presidio with the mini grip..its otherwise a good looking knife
With my 42 for good measure, had it 12 years still my favorite knife
