530/531 Axis will kick the blade open, not on other Axis BMs?

So I have a old 530 in 440c and a new 531 and both will kick out the blade when you pull back on the Axis buttons when the blade is closed. Doesn't fully open the blade like an assist but gets it started. None of my other BMs do this.
Is this unique to these models?

525 as well, it kicks it out a bit when you pull back the axis lock and sucks the blade in when you get to a certain point and release the axis lock. Love it, almost defies physics how easy it is to flick the blade open and close.

I have the 530 and 531. The 530 seems to be the quickest...main reason it's still a favorite. super easy to use, deploy, close. Favorite EDC.

My 707 does this and I prefer it as I find the blade doesn't bounce back open if I don't time things right when I close it one handed.

The 940 also opens and closes in that way. It's a great action.

I guess some models have a "U" shaped notch in the blade that causes this. My Griptilians do not have this feature.

It stems from the shape of the "choil" (not really a choil) - just open the AXIS lock knife and look at the beginning of the blade: you'll see some kind of notch that houses the axis bar in closed position. Now have a look how if there's a slope towards the edge or a straight line that is curved downwards closer to the edge. The former will kick the blade open, the latter won't do anything if you pull down the lock bar.

Examples kicking:
- 707 (as mentioned)
- 710 (only a little bit)

Example not-kicking:
- 810
