Does anyone know how many different sheaths styles were used for the 531's? Were all the sheaths marked "531" or were 531, 532, and/or 535 sheaths used interchangeably? I've seen different styles with 531's that I've owned in the past, but I can't remember how many or how they were marked.

Tvran, I'm not much help to you but I'll try . As I only own the 531 and with this model I've only seen one style sheath for it that was marked 531 which was the fold over style, stitched on one side . DM

You know? I have a bunch of 532's and as far as I can remember the only sheath that is marked 532 is the foldover style that David referred to. Best I remember without digging them all out all the rest are marked "500".

As best as I can recall at the moment, I think I've had them marked "531","532", and now that Plumberdv mentions it,I think I've had one marked "500" as well. I'd certainly be interested in hearing any others.

Anyone know if a 531 would have been shipped in a sheath marked as 532?

i belive the 531 was issued with a 500 sheath
and i i am sure i have seen a 531 marked sheath
the 532 shared a sheath with another knife
Tin Sue ( whom has been absent some time)
has most all that did come with a 531 or 532
and if he shows up can likely tell you all you need to know..
