Hello!
I just found on eBay 532 Impala /click here/, and was surprised that impala horn looks there like Buffalo in "impala stile". I know Buck uses Buffalo carved (grooved?) so it looks like impala, I have it on my custom 110. But on the real impala horn grooved columns are much more accurate, parallel and equal. Also color is more brown then black. I have it on BM 670.
So, what do you think about this knife - is it a real impala?
Also, if somebody has 532/impala - could you please publish here the photo?
Thanks,
Mark

My sons have the 526 versions of that knife, they are buffalo horn made to look like impala.

Does the buffalo turn you off to the knife?

No, this is not real impala; it is jigged water buffalo. But it's a nice knife if you can get it at the right price!!

Has buck ever used "real" impala? I think almost all of them are jigged water bufalo.
I love them ;)

The "Impala" on a Benchmade 670 is not Impala. It is not even jigged water buffalo. It is "Kudu Horn style "

...Yep...Mine's "hi-tech" PLASTIC jigged "Kudu Horn style "...:p
Terrible... I hate it! Why don't use some real as described? Or why just don't put some real description?
Great knife, right description, real pice - we are all big boys here :)
