Buck sure has,or had a winner in this knife, mores the pity it's lost to future buck knife affectionadios

Budman,
I think you'll continue to see 532's as special runs, but Master series is gone...
There seems to be an underground 532 collectors club going.
Who knows, maybe the 532 will be parts of Pete's Custom Knife Shoppe

Jeff,

<chortle mode ON>: Underground 532 collectors club? hweheheheheeh surely you jest

!

There's just a few of us who, like Joe Houser I understand, have developed an appreciation for the design, ergonomics, balance and blade geometry of the 532 mid aka Bucklock. And of those few, even fewer have surfaced here to proclaim same. After all, if we kept singing the praises of this model, it'd not serve our interests in acquiring additional varients... there'd be too much competition

.

So please, let's nix this rumor ASAP... there is no underground 532 collectors club... it's just a small movement that barely leaves a ripple on the surface.

(aside to "them": Any large wake or waves generated by said club membership will be severely dealt with accordingly!)

Cheers! hehehehehe

I did NOT escape from the institution! They gave me a day pass!

I'm gonna volunteer to take the t-shirt order sizes for the club after Bob gets done with the official membership cards.

What's the hold up, Bob?

Seriously, the 532 is a great knife. I have 4 different versions and 2 on the way. I will always be looking for 500 series Bucks. Very well done and a joy to collect.

Greg,

Now you've gone and done it

! In public print we now have confirmation of an underground 532 collectors group (sigh

) You think it was hard before finding that cherrywood vintage version you lacked.... now it's gonna be real tough.

All kidding aside, we've collectively (no pun intended) noted that in the last few months the price on a 1991 cherrywood on the collectors market has jumped 50%. I have 4 variants now with a 5th due soon. What would be real nice is to hear from Jow as to how many variants have been made, when, volume of the issue, and what they are.

Hey y'all, can I get a T- shirt in size XXXXXXXX. If you put a pic of 532 placed end to end, it would be the biggest collection of 532 in one place in the world. It is good to have a big belly for knives.
