Joe,

Given the demonstrated affection here among forumites for the Bucklock models, especially the 532, would it be possible to list the history of all the production variations produced (year, description, numbers made)? I know I've had e-mail asking for this info or at a minimum model variations found in various old Buck catalogs. Perhaps such an article has already been published in the Buck Collectors' newsletter and can be posted here.

Personally my application for the Club will be submitted after the first of the month and my prime interest are the Bucklocks.

Appreciate it!

Bob- after all the posts here about the 532 model I was looking for it on Buck's site to no avail, can you give me some details please?

Bagman,

Take a look at the my thread about my favorite Buck folders. 5 variations of the 532 are shown with 2 110 folding hunters. That gives you a great size comparison. Other features are slim 3/8" thickness, midlock aka Bucklock, and file work on the liners. Slick package!

If i can figure out how to find your thread on the 532's I will take a look at the 5 variations you have. There are more, if you count the Yellowhorse versions and a couple special project versions. I will see if i can get a picture of the ones i have and send to whoever would like to see them.

Joe,

The term "thread" refers to a topic. In this case "My favorite Buck folders: pictures". Here is a shortcut:

I appreciated your response.
