In my search for a gentleman's edc I've come across the Buck 532 with Giraffe bone. I can't make up my mind and thought maybe some pictures would help.

Thanks.

The 532 is an awsome Gentleman's EDC. Here is my only picture of my giraffe knife. As you can see it's very nice even next to some high priced ones. I highly recomend a 532.

Darn it, Flatlander! You have me wanting yet another knife!
:)

Hey thanks guys. I should update that picture as I have the other BG42 (walnut) not pictured and a original plain Bucklocker.

To the O.P.: You should get to the Buck site and buy the giraffe bone quickly. I can't believe they have that many left and the price is more than fair based on the street price of those others.

Dave,

Nice group of 532. Best I've ever seen actually. You need to start putting some "go to show" displays together.

And, I see what you said about the blade on your Giraffe being short. Mine appears to be OK for length but I'm going to measure it to make sure...but from my picture, it looks OK.

You do...tighten up the bottom row and put the Timberlake feather one in that line and then move the three over with the dot knife and bingo room for a 535 over the 531s...hopefully anyway.

You're right as usual :D, got them all in there. I'll take more pictures tomorrow. I need to figure out some way that looks good to secure the knives in place. When you move the case, the knives slide around.

Or better yet, send that Timberlake my way!! :)

Dave's picture with all those blades lined up is a good study in variations in grinds and shapes on the 532. I like that BG42 blade.

LOL,

I do have just 1. It came as a group of other Buck's...I had to buy them all to get the 124 I wanted from the seller. It's the blue green BG-42, I passed on all the others that you guys have...so tempting.

That's a keeper! I have one and I think Gordon does too. You really shouldn't let it be lonely though, it needs a buddy.
