hi gmountain i have one of those and it is a very very nice knife but i am biased as the 532 is one of my favourite buck knives i have about a half dozen of them my favourite of them (that i have) is the burlwood and impala next on my hit list is the pearl and then the stag

i am sorry gmountain this is the info i have on the burlwood you have pictured if this is incorrect someone on here will set us straight
buck knife model 532 folder 2002 b532-sp2-0
and i am sure it is a limited edition but just what the total numbers were i dont know but i seen somewhere (old bcci newsletter i think) the number 61 mentioned but that must have been for one wholesaler or distributer or special order customer

hi richard thanks i dug out my old bcci newsletter march 2005 and it says 61 to ozark cutlery supply so does that mean they contracted 100 and only took 61 ?? it would be nice to know how many of these were made in total

Mike told me 100. Some had the NRA logo added later so Mike would have some knives to sell at the NRA Convention. The shipment numbers that appear in the Newsletter are only those knives shipped to the date of the research Joe Houser did in pulling the information together. It is possible the other 39 knives were at Buck when Joe looked up the numbers or maybe they hadn't been made yet.
