I needed to save money for the two new folders I'm ordering anyway. I will probably actually use them more anyway. That's what I keep telling myself anyway. Is it nest week yet? !!!!!!!!!!!

What style of 532 was it? Blade finish, handle materials, etc?

It looked like dark brown wood, satin blade as far as I could tell. I don't know all the different types, I just liked the looks and wanted to get it as a user. Sacrilegious I know.
I decided to wait and just get a couple of the new folders Buck's comming out with, although there was another for sale. But buyitnow for over $80.

My general opinion is that standard 532's with 420HC blades and wood handles are worth about $75 and they make a fantastic user.

532's with BG-42 blades are worth more like $100 - $125 in my opinion, and the Master Series BG-42 are worth a little more.

Mind you, this is just my opinion, not fact. It is based on the prices I have seen on the examples I have seen on the market.

If someone else feels differently, feel free to chime in.

Thanks for the info Jimmer, but I think I'll still wait for the new folders. They kind of remind me of a folding 124, blade shape I guess. They look tough anyway. It's been a while since I looked forward to a knife as much as these. Thanks again.

The Vantage Avid and Select Small.. Now just to wait till the stores actually start getting them in for shipping? Hopefully it won't be too long, I'm kind of impatient to start using them. All my camping gear is packed, just waiting for the knives. Ok I'm lying, it's all ways packed and I probably won't wait.
