I snagged what may have been one of the last plain REI G-10 Griptilians.
Yesterday I saw this model pop up on BM's website.

Looks like we may see various G-10 Griptilians popping up in the future. I hope so.
I am not a huge fan of the blue handle but I could live with it for such a nice variation with D2.
 
I really like the color combo on the REI model. They nailed it. This one is okay. I'd have to see one to buy one.
 
Interesting. I like the blade on this years model better than last, no laser etching, but I prefer the blue and black G10 from last year over this light blue. Also, last years model was only $150.
 
Buy far the worst colorway I've ever seen on a Benchmade, looks very feminine, a laser etched dolphin on the blade would look right at home.
