560/1 Clip Pictures and questions.

Hey there fellow KAI lovers. I have gotten my hands on a couple different 0560 and a 0561 and have noticed something with the logo on the clip. I think its pretty cool but is kind of a bummer. I will let the pictures do the talking.

Anyway, has anyone else noticed the fade? I am not complaining (I love the knife and will continue to use them with this being a non issue) Just a little curious if this is happening to anyone else?

let me know what you guys think. like i said i think it is cool that the black has rubbed off the 560 that I carry. It is also cool that the logo must be etched on because you can still see it in the right light.
Im sure ZT would send a new one but I Dont care enough to get it. Im just posting this out of curiosity. thanks guys
 
I have a small collection of 0560/1 pocket clips now due to some complications in getting the right screws for them and getting a new clip along with the wrong screws every time. Had not really put much thought into it but I have noticed that the logo is faded quite a bit on the original clip when compared to the other ones. I will be so happy when I can finally screw a pocket clip onto it again that the fade will not bother me a bit.:)
 
Interesting that some fade and others dont. I thought my backup 560 still looked brand new with no fade until I got my 561. ignorance is bliss right, The moral of the story... Dont buy new knives LOL If only we could.

I've been carrying my 0560 every day for 6 weeks. My clip looks like your middle one. I remember it being fairly light when I got it and don't believe it has faded. I've got a backup 0560 that has been flipped 2 or 3 times and then put away as a backup that I should check and compare to. I don't remember it being any darker. When I pulled it out I compared them side by side but was looking more to see if the lockbar gap had changed in my range of serial numbers. The one I carry is a serial around #700 and the other I believe is around #1100.
 
My 560 that has the logo completely worn off is number 205. my backup is number 538 and my 561 is number 730. Maybe there is something with the earlier numbers being different.
