Hi all hope you all had a nice christmass. I bought a titaniun 560 for xmass, with an ats-34 blade. The knife must of been sent into custom shop for a blade a swap. my question you all is how tight is your 560 blade mine seems to have alot of side to side play, it locks up nice but the wobble is dissapointing.Other than the lose blade this knife is the cats a%%.Do you think the guys at buck could help me out.

thanks........bigfish

My 560 had a regular blade but also a lot of side-to-side wobble - enough that it made me really nervouse.

Send it in to Buck for repair - you'll get it back in three or four weeks.

I've got 2 560's, one is std blade and one is re-bladed with aBG-42, both are very tight. Actually almost too tight. Email Joe Houser and he'll take good care of you. He's probably out until after new year's though.

By all means send it in. Buck will make it right & you'll be happy you did. As already mentioned, email Joe Houser & then send it in to his attention.
Joe is a great guy to deal with & your knife will get that extra special "Houser treatment" :D
ps..I think in a previous thread he said he was on vacation till Jan. 3. I'm going by memory, so I could be wrong though. If you don't hear from him right away, he probably is away from the shop.

I sent in a 560 way back in Oct. It came back with a new blade. I used it cleaning a couple of deer and the blade loosened up so much it would make a clicking sound as I used it.

It is back at Buck now. I am currently at the hunting camp and have another 560 with me that I plan on using to test it out, that is if a good deer comes out.

Actully I am going to test out my first S30V 110, and S30V Vanguard as well. I hope.

Will let ya know.

Thanks for all the answers guys I will send this knife in as soon as I get in touch with Joe after the holidays, you guys as always have been very helpful ......thanks again bigfish

I am going through Post Falls this weekend & coming back on Monday. I called to see if I could get a tour, but the factory is closed until the 3rd. :(
According to what the lady on the phone told me, only the retail store & the museum are open. Joe is probably on vacation too.
