For those of you who have had your 560's blade changed........do you know if their custom shop would also put a pocket clip on this knife and for how much?

Thanks,
Mike

I have had several 560's rebladed with BG-42. When I inquired about a pocket clip I was told it was not available. It still makes an awesome knife though, especially if you add a thumb stud and work to smooth up the action a little. The BG-42 blades are hard to beat no matter what knife they are on. racer roy,

Thanks for the input. How do you think a 560 with the thumbstud would work for EDC....too heavy? I am thinking of getting one and having it re-bladed to BG-42 for that purpose. Seems like it would be a decent knife for the price, with or even without the blade change.

Thanks again,
Mike

Even though the 560 isn't as heavy as a 110, I still find it a little to large to drop in my pocket. It rides just fine in a belt pouch though. I will admit that if you have a bit of a "spare tire" like I do, a pouch that rides horizontal on the belt instead of veritical is more comfortable if you do much sitting or driving. :D Racer Roy

racer roy,

I am getting one re-bladed with the BG-42. Looked to nice of a knife to pass up. Seems like it will be a quality, somewhat unique lockback with a good steel blade. Currently, I have a really old Shrade LB7 that rides in my right rear pocket ...... kind of tugs down the britches a bit.

I am really looking forward to this knife. I like horizontal carry too. Because it is more comfortable getting in and out of my truck and just sitting down, stooping, bending and whatnot in general (just my personal preference).

Thanks again for the input.

Mike
